Melinda was born and raised in Tigard where she grew up watching her father, a Principle Architect, run a well-known Architectural firm located in Downtown Portland. She attended Oregon State University where she did an internship at Nordstrom and graduated with a degree in Merchandising Management.
After college, Melinda was recruited to a branch management position at Enterprise Holdings where she oversaw 25+ employees at one time (and is also where she met her husband Peter). She was recognized over the years for a variety of achievements including a commitment to service, team organization, attention to detail, and employee development.
In 2011 Melinda left Enterprise to be a stay-at-home mom to her dog, Kai (yes, you read that right, Ha!), and soon after her son Brayden and daughter Harper. You can find her spending her spare time with Peter and the kids, traveling to their family’s 2nd home in Bend, staying active in the Sherwood Community, and frequenting the best vineyards in the valley.
Having been on the team for over a year now, Melinda has proven herself to be a crucial part of the business. Overseeing every transaction, client experience, as well as marketing collateral - she helps navigate the team towards their goals while ensuring they maintain the reputation they are known for: The Emily Corning Experience.
