With longer days and sunnier skies ahead, it’s officially patio season in the PNW! Whether you’re planning a romantic night out, a laid-back lunch with friends, or a family dinner with the pup in tow, there’s nothing better than dining al fresco. Here are 10 of my favorite outdoor dining spots in and around Portland, from rooftop views to garden patios.


1. Departure – Portland

High above downtown, Departure’s rooftop patio delivers global flavors and stunning city views. It’s a go-to for a chic night out with craft cocktails and modern Asian cuisine.

Perched on the 4th floor with views of the West Hills and their own rooftop garden, Noble Rot offers one of the best wine and dine experiences in the city.
